Traboule at 2 place du gouvernement: former 15th century inn

2 Place du Gouvernement / 10 Quai Romain-Rolland

Entering through the Place du Gouvernement, you will climb a few steps that will lead you to a superb courtyard, admirable for the richness of its details and its impeccable condition. Continuing your exploration, a spiral staircase takes you back down to the initial level, revealing a new skylight offering a clear view of the Lyon sky.

The following corridor, although more modest, allows you to reach the platform, thus concluding the crossing. The entrance at 2 Place du Gouvernement is often open during the day, in particular because of a tea room nearby. It is not uncommon to come across visitors, cameras in hand, exploring this traboule.

If you decide to venture into these places, be sure to respect the tranquility of the residents. Be discreet and respectful of this unique setting where people live on a daily basis.
