Welcome to the Little Fantastic Guignol Museum!

Located on 2 floors, our museum invites you to an immersive audio-guided experience available in French, English, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and now Chinese. Discover a fascinating exhibition of puppets from around the world as well as the captivating story of the creation of Guignol through several animated scenes.

  • Entrance : Entrance and ticketing are via the Disagn' Cardelli boutique at 6 rue St Jean.
  • The Visit : Let yourself be guided by our audio guide through the 2 rooms where our puppet collections are exhibited. The visit lasts about 30 minutes.
  • The Voice Box : Listen to the voices of the theater puppets, including those of Guignol and Gnafron, as if you were at the show!
  • The Video Box : Deepen your knowledge of Guignol with excerpts from shows and behind the scenes in our video space.
  • The Lyonnais Speaking Quiz : Can you match the words in Lyonnais with their translation in French?
  • Try Puppets : Enjoy handling a wooden Guignol and Gnafron at your disposal!
  • Take a photo of yourself in the Castelet : Immortalize your visit by taking a photo in the puppet theater among the puppets!
